Photobox
For T’s first birthday party I collated a slideshow of photos to show her first year. As I put it together I realised I’d taken over a thousand photos of our daughter…
(I did edit the slideshow down to 150 or so photos, a thousand was too much for anyone to sit through politely.)
It goes without saying, I love taking photos so I was delighted when Photobox got in touch and offered the chance for me to sample their canvas print service.
The Photobox website is easy to use and within minutes I’d uploaded my favourite photo of T and ordered a 40cm x 30cm print.
The canvas arrived 3 days later and is just gorgeous. It makes us smile every time we look at it.
Canvas prints start from £22.99

Everyman Baby Club
I’m a big fan of my local Everyman Cinema’s Baby Club.
Since we became parents my husband and I haven’t been to the cinema together as it requires a babysitter.
Instead, T has become my movie partner. Everyman’s Baby Club screenings are exclusively for parents and carers accompanied by their little ones.

So far T and I have enjoyed Precious and Inception without having to worry about disturbing others. Our local cinema has plenty of soft squishy sofas with cushions, complete with side tables and lots of legroom. It feels so luxurious, plus there’s plenty of room for T’s pushchair and for her to play, if she chooses.
Even better, the ticket price includes a delicious cake and hot drink. You don’t even have to leave your comfy seat to order or collect your treat, the Everyman staff come to you to place your order and bring it to you.
It’s a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
Tickets cost £10 and include a hot drink and cake. Babies up to 12 months old are free of charge.

Personalised bunting
I discovered Madsie Grace on eBay by chance and was so thrilled with my purchase I just had to spread the word here.
In the midst of 1st birthday party planning, I desperately wanted to order bunting to spell out T’s name as part of the party decorations. As luck would have it, I placed an order with Madsie Grace and received T’s beautiful, handmade keepsake in record time.
Madsie Grace is the brainchild of a mother of three who creates beautiful, decorative items for your home from luxury fabrics. The Madsie Grace range includes bunting, cushion covers, canvasses and roman blinds.
T’s bunting arrived within 3 days of my order and Not So Yummy Mummy ADORES it.
Letters are priced at £2.25 each with a choice of fabric, excluding postage and packaging.
Available exclusively from the Madsie Grace eBay store – http://stores.ebay.co.uk/madsiegrace

Lindam Bounce About
I considered uploading a hilarious video of my little Miss Trapeze Artist spinning around super fast and laughing hysterically in her Lindam Bounce About. However, I decided to spare her blushes for future years…
Needless to say, T adores her baby bouncer, another gift from Nanna that’s proved to be a hit.
The Bounce About attaches securely to your door frame and is suitable for babies up to 12 kg who are able to support their heads unaided. It’s fully adjustable and has a washable saddle. More importantly, it’s endless fun.

Where’s Spot?

This is T’s favourite book of the moment. Where’s Spot? is currently providing endless entertainment as T loves the animal voices (courtesy of Mummy) and lifting up the flaps to try and find where Spot is hiding.
It turns out Spot is almost as old as Mummy…yep, Spot’s about to turn 30. First published in 1980, Eric Hill’s award-winning title has gone on to sell over 50 million books.
To mark the birthday celebrations a special teal-foiled anniversary edition of Where’s Spot?, the first ever Spot lift-the-flap book, is currently available.

Plum Baby Super Porridge
My daughter absolutely adores Plum Baby Super Porridge.
Each morning, I ask T if she’d like some porridge and every single time T starts grinning and kicking her legs with excitement.
Plum Baby Super Porridge, an organic blend of apple, apricot, wholegrain oats, spelt, quinoa and millet, is hands down T’s favourite meal of the day.
T loves the taste while I love the packaging. Inside the smart beige and plum box you’ll find the porridge grains wrapped in a sleek silver, reflective packet. Even better, the baby on the front of the 7 months plus box looks just like my little one!
£2.99
Plum Baby food is available from major retailers including Boots, Ocado, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Whole Foods.

The Luca Cot
I’ve made the bulk of my big purchases for T online, but when it came to her cot my husband and I wanted to get a feel of what we’d actually be buying before we committed.
We headed to John Lewis and found the perfect cot at the perfect price. At £69 we snapped the Luca up straightaway.
The Luca cot is easy to assemble and features a drop side mechanism and two base positions. (We’re about to lower T’s cot as I reckon she’s just a few days away from realising she could clamber over the edge if she tried really, really hard to escape…)
I’d recommend the Luca to any parent who’s looking for a great cot at a competitive price.

Cybex 2 Go Baby Carrier
Finding the right baby carrier can be a tricky business. I know a few mummies that are on to their third or fourth carrier or sling and are still not 100% happy.
The Cybex 2 Go Baby Carrier is my second attempt at getting it right and I love it. My first attempt (which I won’t name and shame) didn’t work out so well so I headed to Mamas and Papas to try and put it right.
A lovely sales assistant took time to help T and I try out a few options and I settled on the Cybex 2 Go. The option to carry your baby in 5 different positions was a winner for me; so far I’ve tried two and both work really well. For the first few months T faced inwards but now she loves facing outwards when we’re out and about.
The Cybex 2 Go Carrier is robust and comfortable, with a wide padded hip belt that provides fantastic support so you don’t bear the brunt of your baby’s weight on your shoulders. Instead, 70% of the weight is absorbed by the strongest part of your body, your hips.
The carrier is designed for little ones from 3 months to approximately 5 years and is machine washable too.

Tesco Baby Boutique
My mum goes Tesco every day. I kid you not. Located at the end of her road, it’s hard to imagine her shopping anywhere else as “I’m just popping to Tesco” has become part of her DNA.
I have to admit though, when T and I visit her Nanna I also take the opportunity to “pop to Tesco” and stock up on basics from their fabulous baby wear range.
I recently discovered Tesco’s Baby Boutique collection and purchased the adorable outfit modelled here (not by T, this is another Tesco baby) for T to wear to her cousin’s christening.
The dress, hat and matching pants are super cute, T received so many compliments and it’s my favourite outfit too.

New Look Bump Bands
Definitely my best pregnancy purchase, my New Look Bump Bands were fully utilised as my tummy grew and I continued to wear them for months following the arrival of little Miss T.
The bands were perfect for layering under tops and over jeans for extra coverage and during my pregnancy. I also found they kept my tummy warm and cosy while breastfeeding.
Made of a cotton, viscose and lyrca mix, I purchased two packs of three online (each pack consists of a grey, white and black band).
Despite their bargain price New Look’s Bump Bands have proven to be great quality. After many, many washes they still look like new and remain super soft.
